Title: Important Lifestyle Choices

Through all the changing scenes of life,
In trouble and in joy,
The praises of my God shall still
My heart and tongue employ.

2. O magnify the Lord with me,
With me exalt His name;
When in distress to Him I called,
He to my rescue came.

3. Of His deliverance I will boast
Till all that are distressed
Take comfort from God’s help to me
And find in Him their rest.

4. The hosts of God encamp around
The dwellings of the just;
Deliverance He provides for all
Who in His mercy trust.

5. O taste his goodness, prove His love!
Experience will decide
How blessed are they, and only they,
Who in His truth confide.

6. Fear Him, you saints, and you will then
Have nothing else to fear;
His service shall be your delight,
Your needs shall be His care.

I’ll praise my Maker while i’ve breath;
And when my voice is lost in death,
Praise shall employ my nobler powers;
My days of praise shall not be past,
While life and thought and being last
Or immortality endures.

2. Happy the one whose hopes rely
On Jacob’s God, who made the sky,
The earth, the sea, the night and day;
His truth for ever stands secure,
He saves the oppressed, He feeds the poor,
And none who seeks is turned away.

3. The Lord gives eyesight to the blind,
He calms and heals the troubled mind,
He sends the wounded conscience peace;
He helps the stranger in distress,
The widow and the fatherless,
And grants the prisoner glad release.

4. I’ll praise Him while He lends me breath,
And when my voice is lost in death
Praise shall employ my nobler powers;
My days of praise shall not be past
While life and thought and being last
Or immortality endures.

Title: Jesus’ Fireside Talk

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions they fail not,
As Thou hast been Thou for ever wilt be.

Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see!
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided –
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!

2. Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all Nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!

3. Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide,
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!

I will sing the wondrous story
Of the Christ who died for me;
How He left His home in glory
For the cross on Calvary.
I was lost; but Jesus found me,
Found the sheep that went astray;
Threw His loving arms around me,
Drew me back into His way.

2. I was bruised; but Jesus healed me,
Faint was I from many a fall;
Sight was gone, and fears possessed me:
But He freed me from them all.
Days of darkness still come o’er me;
Sorrow’s paths I often tread;
But the Saviour still is with me;
By His hand I’m safely led.

3. He will keep me till the river
Rolls its waters at my feet:
Then He’ll bear me safely over,
Where the loved ones I shall meet.
Yes, I’ll sing the wondrous story
Of the Christ who died for me,
Sing it with the saints in glory,
Gathered by the crystal sea.
